My Family After Tragic Loss of My Dad

Bismillah al-Rahman al-Rahim In the midst of life's challenges, my family has been struck by an unimaginable tragedy. The sudden and accidental death of my dad Muhammad Yasin Malik, has left us reeling with grief and grappling with an uncertain future. “To Allah, we belong and to Him, we shall return”

“For a believer, there is good for him in every matter. If he is afflicted with a calamity, he praises Allah and is patient,” said Rasool Allah (SAW).

I can’t help but remember my dad spending time with us with a smile on his face. He has done everything for us and the most difficult thing for me is to not have him around us. InshAllah I will overcome this grief, save all of his memories and gain strength from Allah to take on this huge responsibility. We were all helping my mom to help her recover and be able to walk and never in my thought did I imagine my dad will leave us soon.

As we come to terms with this heartbreaking reality, we are reaching out to you, our community, friends, and generous brother and sisters to ask for your help in our time of need.

My dad was not only the breadwinner of our family, but also the rock on which we relied for emotional support and guidance. His dedication to providing for us knew no bounds, and his absence has left an enormous void that cannot be filled. Amidst our grief, we are faced with mounting financial responsibilities that were once shouldered by my loving dad.

We all need each other in times of need and this is why Allah made us a community. “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the day of judgment,” said our beloved prophet.

The burden of all the expenses to make a survive now rests heavily on our shoulders. We humbly ask for your support to help us navigate through this challenging phase and ensure that the dreams and aspirations my dad had for us can still be realized. May Allah give me the strength to support my mom and three young sisters.
