Fundraising Campaign: A Dignified Home for My Family Instead of a Tent
This is me Mahmoud Elkahlout living in Canada. My family, (Nasser 60 Year-old, Sanaa 55 Year-old, Mohamed 38 Years old and Lamis 33 Years old, Rouqaya 3 months, and Nabeel 7 Years old) consisting of my parents and siblings, including children, once lived in a four-Level building in Canada refugee Camp – Tel Al-Sultan in Rafah City before it was destroyed due to the ongoing bombardment in Gaza. Since then, they have been forced to live in a tent that offers no protection from the cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer, enduring harsh weather conditions, storms, and a severe lack of basic necessities under the ongoing siege and devastation of the area.
As summer approaches and temperatures rise, their suffering worsens, with no means of comfort or safety. They have also lost their only source of income after their home and sweets & ice cream shop were destroyed.
Our Goal: To secure a safe and dignified home for them instead of a tent, with $200 USD per month to cover the rent of a simple house that will provide them with shelter and a sense of stability. I will send the money through western union or Moneygram.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in their lives.
Help us give them a chance at a safer, more dignified life.
Donate now and be part of the hope!
