Update: 4/29: Dad no longer needs dialysis and he has been moved to a rehab now. Still a long journey but we are getting somewhere.

Update 4/4 : The one kidney dad has left isn’t working well so he has started dialysis!

UPDATE 3/29 : He is now on a ventilator and can’t breathe on his own.

I’m guessing you’re here because you know me or my father OR you’ve heard his story!

**JOSEPH COBB (Chef at Morse Fish in the South End BOSTON for OVER 30 years** The guy that’s fed us all, made us laugh, and looked out for many! “UNCLE JOE” to THOUSANDS of people EVERYONES UNCLE!

My father and his best friend were sitting on a porch in Roslindale MA on Sunday March 26th around 5PM when a car “Lost Control” hit another can ran into a fence and then into the porch/house running over my dad completely and pinning his friend between the car and the house. Due to a lot of unrepairable chest/heart injuries Gido (My fathers best friend) didn’t make it. My father is in critical condition and doesn’t know the news about his BFF yet (He is not ready)

at this time my father says he doesn’t need anything but several people are asking what they can do to help. Joseph Cobb has now due to this had one kidney removed, his spleen removed, part of his colon removed, a colostomy bag now forever, and has spinal fractures and broken ribs and several more MRIs to be done to identify anything else.

MANY have asked to send my family food, people want a place to donate money, people want to help and I greatly appreciate it.

ANY dollar you donate will go toward GAS and Parking for me to be able to visit my dad each day, things that will make my dads life easier/more comfortable in the hospital. Things to help with recovery after and the expenses of moving him into a new place that can adjust to his life changing accident. MY FATHER cared for my son 5 days a week and this has had a drastic impact on our daily routines. My father depended on seeing my son each day to add happiness to his life that’s his little bestfriend!

I don’t want to TAKE or BEG anyone for anything but I am overwhelmed and also blessed with the amount of people that have reached out!
