Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your support.

My name is Chad Geffner. My soulmate, my wife, and the mother of our two boys (ages 13 and 15) has been fighting for her life after being struck by severe septic pneumonia. After weeks in the hospital, her condition became critical — she was placed on a ventilator, and doctors warned us there was a very real chance she might not survive.

After two agonizing weeks on the ventilator, we faced an impossible choice: perform a tracheostomy or remove the ventilator tube and pray for a miracle. We chose to remove it — and by the grace of God, she began breathing on her own.

While she is now on the long road to recovery, it will take months for her to fully heal. I have spent nearly every waking moment by her side, making it nearly impossible to work these past two months. As a result, the bills are piling up, and we are facing overwhelming financial pressure.

Our boys have been incredibly strong through all of this, but they miss their mom deeply and just want her home again. I’ve always been someone who believed in taking care of my family on my own — but right now, I need help.
