My family under fire, help them evacuate Gaza.

My My name is Ahmed Dawoud, 27 years old. I am architecture engineer.

I reach out of you with a heavy heart to tell you the story of my family through the unimaginable challenges in Gaza due to the ongoing war.

My family consists of:

My father Riad Dawoud 72 years old. mother Zarifa Dawoud 69 years old.

-My elder brother Raed Dawoud 51 years old, his wife Sahar Rezeq.

They Have two girls Rose 15 years old, Rita 11 years old ,and a boy Feras 14 years old.

-My elder sister Rola Dawoud and her husband Saqer Hassani.

They have 2 girls, Tia 11 years old and Kenzy 8 years old, and 3 boys Mohanned 12 years old, and twins Murad and Mohammed they are just 2 years old.

-My brother Mohammed Dawoud 30 years old, he is an accountant. His wife Wesal Khalil. They have a baby girl Talia, she is 6 months

My sister Heba Dawoud is 32 years old, she is a translator and digital marketer. Her husband Owda Shaqalih, they have a girl Hanan 6 years old and a boy Abdel Hakim 4 years old.

Our evacuation from Gaza

On October 11, 2023, the escalating danger led us to evacuate Gaza especially when Rola's house was totally destroyed in Mokhabarat area. We left everything behind us, our homes and belongings. We moved to our aunt's home in Khan-Yunis, believing it to be a safe zone. However, we were met with mortal danger during the relocation, and we found ourselves in an area marked by constant missile threats our lives.

On January 15, 2024 we had to evacuate our aunt's home to Mawasi Khan-Yunis due to the threats to leave the area, we moved to Mawasi Khan- Yunis. We made a tent and living there in a small place for my whole family. We are living without proper shelter and limited secure for the basic necessities of food.

Raed has a beautiful house. It was apartment on 10th floor, in Maqwsi area, his children grew up with love in this home. Unfortunately their house was totally destroyed. A building of 11th floor was completely destroyed.

Rita, his little girl, has everything she loves before the war.

Look at her nowadays, she suffers a lot through war.

Rola's home is charming, beautiful, so clean and arrangement. She has twins who grew up in their own beds, own toys, own closet with beautiful clothes.

Also, Tia and Kenzy have their own room with some privacy. They have everything they need and want.

Mohanned also has a room with a beautiful sea view.

Rola and her family lost her home, a building of 20 floor was totally destroyed, she cried a lot and saw her dreams destroyed, too. She becomes homeless and lives without proper shelter with her family.

She is living now in a tent lacking all necessities of life especially with her twins.

My apartment I was decorating it.

I bought an apartment in Jalaa St.

The building was newly built, my apartment was in the 6th floor.

As an engineer, I decorated it as I dreamed to live comfortably as I wanted, I paid a lot of money to have a beautiful apartment. I was planned to get engaged on December, 2023 and live in my home in peace and love.

Unfortunately, my home was destroyed, I didn't live in it even for one day. It was so difficult to see all my planned future destroyed upon my eyes.

I share with you our story, we are living in hard conditions under siege and fire. So, we are initiating a donation and support campaign to help my family leave Gaza as we lost our homes. Unfortunately, we can't leave Gaza through Rafah border crossing without coordination through a company and paying highly amount. We need 5000$ per person and 2500$ for children under 12 years. All I ask is to donate even one dollar makes a difference.
