Save my family in Gaza
Donation protected
Hi my name is MAHFUTH ABUDAQEN I live in Germany, my family lives in the Gaza Strip, PalestineMy family's house was bombed and burned completely. It is in danger of collapsing. It is not suitable for habitation. My family has no shelter. They do not have food or drink. They do not have any of the necessities of life.Elaine's room burned down , my older brother’s child, and destroyed all the toys she loves and all her memories in her room that she loves to play in. I want to collect donations in order to help my family. Help us.
Hopefully there will be more positive updates soon. The money will be sent to my brother Abdul Hakim Abu Daqn so that he can solve the crisis the family is experiencing and try to find a safe place to live
Currently, ten members of my family, including two children, share a house with another family under unimaginable living conditions, and it is heartbreaking to witness our loved ones endure such hardships and pain.
(Another message from my brother)
My name is Abdul Hakim Abu Daqn, I am a Palestinian journalist based in Gaza City. Because of the current war, I lost everything here in Gaza, including my house and office that included all equipment of my work. The worst thing I am experiencing currently is that my family has been divided as my parent s and my siblings stay at the northern of Gaza, while my wife and children live in al-Zawaida in the middle of Gaza, and I live in Rafah in the southern of Gaza.
The recent bombings in Gaza have shattered our lives, leaving my family and me homeless and without any possessions. Our beloved home, a symbol of our efforts and love, was completely destroyed in this war. I find myself with nothing but the clothes on us and few identifying papers in our back bags. We're reaching out to our community in a heartfelt plea for assistance.
Every donation, regardless of size, will make a significant difference in helping us rebuild our lives and provide the basic necessities for our family. The devastation has left us in a precarious situation, including looming debts for the now-destroyed house. Your support during this profoundly challenging time will offer us hope amid despair. Your generosity won't just help us secure a roof over our heads again but also restore our belief in the kindness of humanity
With a deep sense of urgency and heavy hearts, we are reaching out to friends who have encouraged us to seek support and to all compassionate people who share the belief that no one should face such circumstances. We humbly ask for your support to help our family in the reconstruction of their damaged home and to provide the basic essentials they need to rebuild their lives.
The narrative above is a condensed version, and the depth of what my family has experienced and continues to endure goes beyond what words can fully express.
In the meantime, my humble request is that you do everything you can to call for a permanent ceasefire. Please continue to amplify Palestinian voices
We will continue to update the page as we receive more information from our family once the internet connection is restored in Gaza.
Look what the house looked like before it was destroyed
My family told me that they felt like they had been born again, with nothing left but the clothes to wear. This clearly shows the current situation of all Gazans, which is like a newborn who only has the necessities, the only difference being age.
