My father Gary Crowder

I am trying to raise money to help out my parents with unexpected emergency hospital expenses for their stay in the traverse city ER.

Saturday night Gary had stroke like symptoms. Macy and I took him to Grayling ER, soon after they transferred him to Traverse City ER.

Blood work showed His kidneys are working at 12% so they couldn’t do a MRI to see if he was having a stroke, because that requires dye that would take out his kidneys. They quickly did a surgery so they could start dialysis and get toxins and water out of his body. After he was stabilized They could do a MRI and CT scan to see if he had a stroke. They found hyperkalemia was causing his stroke symptoms. So dialysis was needed ASAP to get his potassium down so he don’t have heart issues on top of everything. They did a quick surgery to get a port in to start dialysis. 1st day on Dialysis went good. On top of everything he has Shingles which has also added to a build up of toxins in his blood. He will still need to have surgery to put in a permit port to keep dialysis going so this don’t happen again. This could have ended with a bad ending very quickly but thanks to prayer God is putting the right people in the right places at the right time making the right choices ❤️ -Heather Crowder
