My father Jose Luis Saenz

Dear family and friends,

It is with a very heavy heart that I write this passage. Some of you may or may not have known my father Jose Luis Saenz was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last year in January 2022. He began chemo and radiation soon after diagnosis but it was never to heal him but just to give him more time because of how advanced the cancer was when it was detected. It had metastasized affecting several organs which included his colon, stomach, and liver, it eventually made its way to his bones after having started treatment. Unfortunately, my father lost his battle with cancer on March 22, 2023. He was put on hospice care a little over 2 weeks ago where they gave him 6 months or less. Those "6 months" quickly turned into just a couple of weeks. And while I am absolutely devastated that he's gone, I am happy he's resting and no longer in pain. Now it is time to lay him to rest. These types of events are always financially devastating and I would like to grant his wishes of being buried instead of cremated. I ask anyone who is willing and able to contribute to please do so by donating any amount your heart desires. No amount is too small and anything would be greatly appreciated. While I'm writing this on GoFundMe it would be ideal to receive any donations directly through Zelle or Venmo if possible since GoFundMe does take a percentage of each donation for their own profit.
