My Godson Anthony Needs Your Help

Donation protected
My caring 36-year-old Godson & nephew, Anthony Agnello (dear son of Art and Jacquie Agnello) has worked so hard his whole life to make something of himself and to raise his son properly. He has worked nonstop since he was 16 years old and became a homeowner at 22, which he is in danger of losing.
On December 28, 2022 Anthony went into the ER with back pain and numbness in his legs and feet, and did not come home from the hospital until February 1, 2023. He was hospitalized for 36 days and was in the ICU twice during his lengthy hospital stay. Anthony was diagnosed with a rare spinal cord disease called Transverse Myelitis. He was at one point paralyzed from the waist down.
Anthony is now learning how to walk again. He receives in home weekly physical therapy and gets around in a wheelchair or walker. My Godson is determined to walk again and desperately wants to get back to the life he had. He is staying positive. Anthony has been out of work since December 27, 2022 and is on NYS short term disability (only $680 a month) which is not nearly enough to pay his monthly bills. He is facing the fear of losing his home, car, and everything else that he has worked so hard for his whole life.
He has depleted his savings trying to keep up with his mortgage, utilities, car, insurance, and other monthly expenses while he’s been unable to work. In addition to his regular monthly expenses, the mounting medical bills for a 36-day hospital stay are beginning to come in.
I’ve set up this Go-Fund-Me for Anthony to help get him through this rough time in his life. I would appreciate, beyond words, if you could donate to help him. Any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated. All prayers would be greatly appreciated too. We are keeping the faith that Anthony will be up on his feet soon. Our family motto is “Faith Over Fear”. Thank you for your kindness and consideration. He is that one-in-a-million young man that needs to get through this trying time without losing everything he has worked for all his life to accomplish.

With Sincere Gratitude,
Suzanne Rizzo
