My Housing Saga Pt 2: Moving to a Permanent Home

Hello everyone!
I'm coming to you today asking for your help, not because anything new has gone wrong, but because something has gone right!
Some of you may remember my housing saga last summer. Basically, my friends and roommates of six years gave me 30 days to find a new place to live for seemingly no reason at all. I begged them for more time to figure things out and to do things safely, and they refused. Even today I still don't know why they were so eager to put me on the street, but it completely upended my life, cost a ton of money and left me in a frustratingly temporary living situation.
Since then, aside from a month spent "couch-surfing" with a generous local friend of mine, I've been living in a tiny and very expensive bedroom far away from most folks. The arrangement was always meant to be temporary, as it costs me a fortune to live here, and living here isn't all that great: my landlord is a strange, paranoid guy who isn't helpful or supportive and whose housing rules have kept me from ever being able to use the house's common areas.
Fortunately, after much in the way of logistic hurdles, I've actually managed to find a place I can live in the long term, and coincidentally, it's with the same friend who let me couch-surf with him last year! The rent is much more affordable, the living situation accommodates all of my physical needs, and I'll once again be living with a friend I can trust. This is the goal I was hoping for all along, and it's finally happening.
Unfortunately, the last few months have been extremely hard on me financially. I've still been suffering from the same physical and mental health conditions that challenged me in my old living environment, but with significantly higher monthly expenses. What little work I am able to do has been hamstrung by business hiccups; I've been caught up in "contractor limbo", with no steady work being available as a result.
Moving day is around May 20, and right now it's looking like the combination of moving and this last month's rent (for legal reasons, I still owe the full last month's rent, and my landlord is being very stingy about the security deposit) will leave me well into the red. That's where I need some help from anyone who is able to help me out.
This time around, things are a little easier. I knew my living situation was temporary, so I never really unpacked 90% of my belongings, making packing a breeze. A lot of the things I had to buy in the last move are still with me and can still be used for the next one. I also know exactly where I'm moving to, and there's no gap in moving, so I only need to do one move, unlike last time. That's why my goal is quite a bit lower than it was when I was first about to be on the streets last summer.
If you can help out, it would really make this whole process so much easier for me. I know a lot of you are struggling right now, and even just spreading the word helps me out a ton. Thank you for reading!
