Welcome my families, friends, and beautiful folks,
As for my 2019 resolution, I promised myself, I will push myself out of my comfort zone and constantly take risks. This means I'm going to be loud, bold and proud of who I am and what I believe in. Unapologetically so.
I want to be an upstander, not a bystander. I have decided to take part in Miss Nepal North America. With this platform, I want to help Nepalese youths today struggling with mental health illness. I want to advocate and educate our future generation about the significance of having a healthy mind. I also want to raise awareness about many pressing challenges we’re facing today as a society such as a drastic climate change, child marriage, proper education among women in Nepal and equal rights, etc.
It will give me an opportunity to change people's lives, including my own. It will give me a voice for the unheard and help people who may not be able to help themselves. At the same time, I’m hopeful this golden opportunity will also teach me to develop important social skills, confidence and gain valuable life lessons.
A dreamer is a believer and believers makes their dreams become reality. I believe I can make a difference.
