It is with immense joy and gratitude that I share this incredible news: thanks to the generous support of all of you, I was able to win the first and only Olympic medal in the history of Cape Verde!

Every contribution made to this campaign was instrumental in enabling me to train, compete, and ultimately achieve this historic feat. The dream that many of us shared has come true, and this medal is a victory for all the Cape Verdean people.

I sincerely thank each one of you who believed in me and helped me get here. Together, we made history and showed the world the strength and talent of Cape Verde.

It is with great pride and determination that I represented Cape Verde at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. It was a unique and unforgettable experience that allowed me to compete at a global level and show the talent and dedication I have.

Now, I have the opportunity to move forward and seek my qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The second world Olympic qualification will be held in Thailand, from May 21st to June 2nd, and to ensure adequate and competitive preparation, I'm looking for sponsorship.

Preparing for an event of such magnitude requires a lot of physical effort, constant training, specialized medical monitoring and participation in international competitions. Unfortunately, these costs end up being a financial challenge for an independent athlete like me.

That is why I humbly come to ask for your support. Whether through financial sponsorship, partnerships or donations, any contribution will be extremely valuable to my journey towards Olympic qualification. In addition to proudly representing Cape Verde, I intend to inspire young athletes to follow their dreams and believe in their potential.
