My kitten has a FATAL ILLNESS. Give her a chance to live!

Donation protected

This is my kitten, Luna. She is only 5 months old and has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a type of mutated virus that has a nearly 100% fatality rate. Without treatment, her body and organs will shut down within weeks or even days and she will die.

The only known treatment is a drug called "GS-441524." The drug is known to have a 93% success rate in curing cats of FIP. In our case, it will cost over $600 for the full quantity required for the three month treatment.

As of now, I was able to pay $200 for a twenty-day sample, in addition to a $600 vet bill; The vet visit in which Luna was diagnosed with FIP included a blood test, x-rays, extraction and testing of abdominal fluids caused by FIP, as well as an emergency visit charge and other miscellaneous charges.

So far, I have paid a total of $800 toward Luna's treatment. I will need to pay an additional $400 for the full supply of GS-441524. I will also need to bring her back to the vet for checkups starting as soon as this Thursday (Oct 24th). This will likely require more blood tests which will each cost upwards of $250 including visitation fees.

Ultimately, I estimate that I will need to spend a mininum of $900 ($400 for her medication, + $250 + $250 for vet fees) over the next three months. This isn't counting the $800 that I have already spent.

While Luna is undergoing her treatment, I still have to deal with my 17 year old cat with failing kidneys and my 6 year old cat who needs dental work. I will have to put off THEIR treatment until 2025, simply because of how urgent Luna's condition is. (If there is any leftover money, I will definitely be putting it towards their healthcare. I will also be listing my belongings for sale for this purpose.)

Without the money to treat Luna of FIP, she will almost certainly die within weeks or days. She is only 5 months old, the equivalent of an elementary school age child.
Please help me give Luna a chance at life.
