Our little Angel has been called away much to soon

My name is Greg. I am a grandfather of 2 beautiful angels. My grandson Noah is almost 3, and my granddaughter Camellia just turned 4 months old on the 11th of this month.

 

Yesterday, my granddaughter passed away. It is not yet known what happened, but we are thinking SIDS.

Her father was lying down with her and they both fell asleep. Sometime later when he woke up, he found her pale and lifeless. Emergency services were called, she was taken to a hospital where doctors did everything they could, but they were not able to revive her.

 

Her mother / my daughter Jessica and her life partner Paul are completely devastated.

They are a low income family, and have been working so very hard to get on their feet and then this happens.

 

I purchased a life insurance policy for each of the grandkids soon after they were born.

It's the kind of policy that grows in value overtime so I didn't get a very high value policy.

Who would have thought it would be this soon? Other than that, they have nothing for expenses.

 

Both my grandkids fill me with so much joy. A kind of joy that until they came along I was in very little supply of.

 

I am so grateful to still have my little buddy Noah, but some of the joy I felt is now an empty space.

 

Everything I receive will go towards whatever funeral expenses are not covered by the insurance, and whatever is left over will go to helping them get on there feet, and on the road to recovery.
