My little Butterfly

Hi, my name is Deanna,

Last week we were blessed with getting Guardianship/custody of my youngest granddaughter. Alexandria is 3 1/2 years old and an amazing little girl. Alexandria was born with a birth defect called Turners Syndrome. She had heart surgery at 3 months old and is my Princess Warrior. She has many diagnoses along with Turners, such as multi cystic kidney and possibly Autism, although they do not want to label her yet with that at this early age. I am so so proud of this little girl for being so strong through everything that she has been through in her little 3 1/2 years. I am fundraising because while I was in the middle of gaining guardianship, I had to be home from work for a week and 1/2 with her as she was not enrolled in any school or daycare at the time and I really needed to be at home with her to get her adjusted and settled in. Unfortunately ,like most Americans, I live paycheck to paycheck and being out of work has become a financial burden. Although, it is a temporary burden ,as I just went back to work and Alexandria is now enrolled in school. I am a bit behind on bills due to not receiving a paycheck for being out of work and could really use some help. I am not one to beg or plead but we now raise two beautiful granddaughters, ( the oldest is 17 and has been with us since she was 12) and I need to make sure I do not fail them in anyway.
