My Liver Disease Journey

I haven't been very open about my health issues with many people, but having finally come to the point I am currently situated, it is necessary that I share...

It all started a little over 4 years ago when I noticed that eating was becoming a task for me. One bite made me full, two bites made me nauseous, three bites made me physically ill. Fast forward to today, and I have: complete loss of appetite, chronic/cyclical vomiting, neuropathy in the legs and feet, weakness, swelling, etc. With all of these factors involved, I have not been able to work for several months. I have also been in and out of the ER several times in the last few months.

As of yesterday, the 24th of August, I was diagnosed with advanced liver disease with severe scarring. I was told that if the necessary precautions weren't taken, my life would be in serious jeopardy. I will be undergoing a biopsy this week and a transplant has also been discussed.

I'm not one to ever ask for help, but to know that my life is on the line, I'm putting my humility to the side.

This money would be used to help pay for the future procedures and treatment I will be undergoing. Anything would be much appreciated, even just a prayer. I thank you all so very much.
