My mom & dad are helping Ukrainian refugees

How the money will be spent:

Please, meet Maria and Tadeusz, my mom & dad. Those two are the most loving, caring, and empathetic people you will ever meet. They are in their mid-60s, and until a month ago, they were living their everyday life running a dorm for backpackers in Zembrzyce, a small town in the south of Poland, where they've spent their whole lives.

Unfortunately, everything has changed with the Russian invasion on Ukraine. More than two million women and children flee to Poland, leaving everything behind. It didn't take long for Tadeusz and Maria to sign up their dorm as a temporary shelter with Polish authorities. Within hours, they were asked to accept refugees from Ukraine: seven women, of which two were pregnant, and eight of their children.

As you can imagine, all of the people my parents are hosting at the moment come with one that they could carry in their backpacks. They need warm clothes, shoes, personal hygiene products, food, and other essential things. Until now, my parents and family and the local community are sponsoring what they can, but the need for help is still great.

I believe that many people are willing to support initiatives like that if they could be assured that the help is going to the right place. If you are one of them, please consider supporting my parent's effort, that they can focus on helping the Ukraine refugees they are hosting.

All the raised money will be used to buy essential products and services for the Ukraine refugees my parents are hosting. If there is any money left, we will transfer it to one of the Polish nonprofit organizations helping other Ukrainian refugees.
