Support for Nancy After Kidney Surgery

Update: My Mom has been having more abdominal pain this week, which hopefully is part of the healing process, and she is very fatigued by early afternoon. I have been in Florida to help, but after Friday she’ll be on her own. If a few more family members or friends are able to help her financially, she won’t have to stress out about returning to work next week and can continue to rest and heal. Thank you!

Hello Everyone, I decided to start this GoFundMe for my Mom, Nancy. She lives in Florida, is 72 years old, and just underwent surgery to remove her right kidney due to a cancerous tumor. Currently, she is recovering at home and some family members are helping her with daily needs. She is unable to lift anything greater than 10 lbs for at least 3 more weeks, and she shouldn’t drive for awhile longer.

Although my Mom is beginning to feel better, she still has many weeks left to fully recover. Due to this surgery, she will be out-of-work for many weeks and has been since December 23rd. A few family members have already helped with some extra money, groceries, driving her to appointments and more, but I know she is going to really need a financial boost.

My Mom has always been there when anyone has needed help, and she gives much more than she receives. At this point in her life I would like to see her worry less, relax more, and be able to recover from surgery without the weight of late bills hanging over her. If you are able to help at all, I would be grateful and I know she will be too. Every penny will go to Nancy for her medical expenses, groceries, utility bills, and more.
