Please Help Keep My Mom Happy And Healthy.

Friends and Fans! As many of you know, one of the reasons I moved to Florida in 2018 was because my Mom, who lived alone, needed someone to keep an eye on her. After 3 years of living here and with her declining health, it became too much for me to do alone. Fortunately, when the time came, I was able to move her into an amazing assisted living community where she has thrived and is happy and healthy. We'll be celebrating her 90th birthday this month.

She lives very much in the moment, her memory isnt that great and she has trouble walking, but she knows me, and has a group of ladies that she spends her days hanging out with while engaging in activities. The staff is incredible and caring, they watch over her 24/7 and I can't picture her living any place else. I still stop by 2-3 times a week to visit and take her anything she needs. Unfortunately though, the money that we had set aside for her care is running out. People in her situation often "outlive their money" which is both a blessing and a problem. She gets her social security every month and a stipend from the VA, because my Dad was in the Marines, and the rest comes from her savings. As tough as this is, I'm asking people to donate to help her stay where she is. I promised my Dad before he passed that I would take care of her and that's what I will continue to do, with your help. I rarely ask for anything or any help but this is the one time I'm putting my pride aside. Thank you and God bless you.
