My mom was in serious accident and needs me home!

For those who know me personally, I have never asked for financial help, even in the toughest of times. 

But 3 weeks ago, back home in Bulgaria, my mom was hit by a car while crossing a green light and she was seriously injured to the point to where she is confined to a wheelchair at the moment! My mom is in her 80s and so is my dad, neither of them have health insurance or the capability to navigate the complicated health system, and my dad cannot really take care of my mom, as he is sick himself and can barely walk.

So, I have to fly Bulgaria as soon as possible and stabilize my mom and organize her continuous care; possible physical therapy and other care she may need. They cannot do it by themselves and I cannot do it from so far away.

A one way ticket to Bulgaria and my two month stay there would probably cost me at least a $1000 and I am not even thinking about my trip back, as that would depend on how my mom recovers.

As I mentioned, I am extremely ashamed for asking for financial help, but I don't have the capability to cover my emergency trip back home in such a short notice. And I know that everyone is struggling right now, so any amount of donation will help, or if you can't help, please share it with someone who may be able to so spare $5-$10.
