My Mom’s Progressive Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Hi, my name is Claudette - speaking on behalf of my Mom and Family. I’m humbly asking for financial assistance for my Mom who was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia last December 17, 2022. She was admitted to the hospital on December 30 - and she needed to undergo chemotherapy for her treatment.

However,because of the fast progression of her leukemia, her blood vessels and veins are collapsing making intravenous treatments difficult. With a lower immune system and high risk for infection, she developed blisters on her right foot and right hand that turned into huge wounds resulting in excruciating pain, causing intermittent high fever and chills that lowers her blood pressure to which her doctors cannot start the chemotherapy under those conditions. 

For a month now since the first time she has been diagnosed with the disease, the family has already incurred a large amount of money for her medications, medical procedures, surgeries, hospital bills and doctors' fees. 

Our Mom is fighting for her life. She keeps her strong faith and high hopes close to her heart. And so are we for her. But the family is now facing a great deal of financial constraints while coping with the continued high cost of her treatment.
