Hi, my name is Breanna and I am fundraising for my mother who many of you know has been battling with Metastatic Breast Cancer since 2019…she hit a drastic turn back in September with a seizure that caused her to return back to the hospital due to a tumor returning in the same area as the brain from her last surgery and caused her to stop her chemo and radiation. She is now in a nursing home and starting on hospice under Suncrest who has whole hearted taken her case as charity due to her Medicaid still pending from renewal.

She has struggled during these past few months and is now at the stage of not remembering who I am and has gone downhill.

The nurse practitioner has wanted to start her on medication due to her irritability and pain from the tumors that metastasized over this course of no treatment.

I received a call 1/12/24 from them saying she did not want to start this medication unless she is signed as a DNR..I asked what the best option was and due to her condition, it is best that we move forward with the DNR as she could result in a vegetative state if not.

If you have made it this far, thank you so much for all of the support and everything through this process as it has been very very hard.

The social workers, hospice, and the nurse practitioner would like me to have a place of burial for her ready if she were to make a bigger change and something happens…

I don’t want to do this, but I honestly have no other option…if anyone at all could please help with expenses for her remainder of time we have with her and for her expenses on burial, her wishes, it would be greatly appreciated.
