My Mother, Beverly Cohen Lost her Home in a Fire.

Hi Everyone! Some of you know me and my mom, some of you may not, but my name is Jeff Cohen, and I am looking to raise money to help my mother Beverly Cohen, as yesterday afternoon (3/12/24) she lost her home to a fire. She is okay, and is currently staying with me (but she will want to inflict bodily harm against me eventually) and I am doing my best to keep her happy, but she has absolutely nothing now. It goes without saying, but she is starting completely over.

She walked out of the house safely but with nothing more than a bathrobe and a pair of slippers. There are so many things we need to get her that it's impossible to list them all here. Money won't bring back her priceless memories, photo albums, heirlooms, etc. but it will help us get her what she needs, and to find a place for her to live in the meantime as she is 85 years old and requires a certain level of care.

We are figuring out a long term solution for her, and we will update here when we have one, but right now we are trying to get her help and keep her comfortable.

A Special Thank You to everyone involved. Words can't describe how amazing the The Carver Fire, Police, and the EMT's were. They were so in sync, and so communicative, and focused. At the end of it all, they walked up to me and handed me a letter with a beautiful letter and $300 from their House Fire Relief fund to immediately go out and get my mother the essentials (which we did). We truly appreciate all of our first responders.
