My Mother, Gwen, Lost Everything - Hurricane Ian

Hi, my name is Mario and I'm creating this fundraiser for my mother, Gwendolyn Greenaway. On September 29th, 2022 the storm changed my mom's life forever when it brought 500 to 1000 year flood level worth of rain into her South Orlando community. She was trapped in her home with up to several feet of water with her two pets, alone. This level of water resulted in a total loss of all of her furniture, her home, our family cat and her stability. Every home in her community on the first floor has been flooded and condemned. She only has a few personal belongings and clothes left. We are very blessed that she is safe and still has her pup, but she will need help to rebuild.

Your donation will help my mom get back into housing and furnish her new home. She only has a few things that were salvageable left. These donations will help with replacing her furniture and household goods for her new home. Donations will also help in her search for housing as it is very limited in the Orlando area with so many people displaced from the hurricane. All funds will go directly to my mother.
