In memory of my late Mam, Pat Redman

I am John Redman a serving Soldier of The 1st Battalion The Duke Of Lancaster’s Regiment, based in Cyprus. A place which in a strange way is sentimental to me. In 2003 whilst based here my Brother who was also serving with me at the time passed away. Then on the 5th November 2015 again whilst based here, my Mam passed away following being diagnosed with a brain tumour. During that extremely difficult time, The Duke Of Lancaster’s Regimental Charity helped me and my family by assisting in funeral costs. Now being back in Cyprus again, I feel it is the right time to give back to those that helped my family. I'm raising money in aid of The Duke Of Lancaster’s Regimental Charity

I’m doing this by walking a Cyprus version of the Coast 2 Coast. Starting at Paphos Castle and finishing at Cape Greco in Ayia Napa, a total of 115 miles, within a (65) hour period. Which is how old my mam was when she passed.
