My name is Sailor.

Sailor (they/them) came into this world Sara Maya Court on March 5th 2007 and left us September 17th 2021. ‘My name is Sailor’ was the last thing they wrote and so that is what we choose to call the Fund. We choose to call them Sailor, and we also choose to use their preferred pronouns ‘they/them’.

As we come to terms with losing Sailor, as a family, we have decided to invite donations to this Memorial Fund.

We will keep everyone informed of how we use your kind donations, and please rest assured that 100% raised in Sailor’s name will be used for charitable purposes or to lobby for change in the support offered to young people in crisis.

We have invited David Young, a family friend and experienced charity development director to advise us and oversee the administration of the Fund, which he has volunteered to do.
