My name us Rashid, I am 27 in Gaza

This is a call for donations for Rashid and his family.

"My name us Rashid, I am 27 years old living in Gaza together with my Mum and Dad, my four brothers aged 28, 26, 24 and 22, and my sisters aged 19, 15, and 8.

Before the war I worked as a sales representative, and my earnings were spent on our house. I was satisfied being able to support myself and my family. Our family also received support from the government. Due to the occupation none of my family members was in employment. With the start of the Israeli war I lost my job. Food prices have risen, and whilst we do get certain basic foods like beans it is not enough. My whole family suffers from quite severe malnutrition. And recently one of my sisters suffered from brain inflammation as a result of a virus infection because her physical body was so weak. I used to weigh 86 kilos, and now I weigh only 73 kilos. The war is also affecting my psychological state. I would like to get away from the bombardment and the suffering. Our suffering here is immense. And my family is now accommodated in my grandfather's house. Approx. 40 people are crammed into 100 qms. We could no longer stay in our own house because of the severe bombing in that area. I myself sleep with a friend in his little shop. I would like to go to Turkey to find employment in order to help my family with food. Egypt charges a fee of $5,000 for people who want to leave Gaza."
