LETS HELP GORDON REBUILD HIS LIFE, ICE STORM STOLE

Hello, my name is Melissa and I live in an apartment community in SE Portland, Oregon.

On Thursday night, January 18th around 10:30pm a large oak tree came towering down on my friend's home. The oak has a base of 15’ across at the roots to give you an idea of how big it is. Our recent ice storm and wind gusts showed no mercy on the tree and my neighbors home was right in the line of fire. The tree came down on the roof over Gordon’s living room where he was laying down on the couch. Had he been a couple inches over in the wrong direction, he would have been crushed. It was a miracle he wasn’t physically injured by this destruction and he was able to make his way out the back door.

Gordon’s apartment is totaled and he has lost everything from this destruction. I am trying to help him raise money so he can rebuild his life and replace the bare necessities and also give him a little security to help him over the next couple months. If you are in a position to donate anything, it would be greatly appreciated.
