My One Birthday for Family Tree

Hi, my name is Kyra Dooley and i'm doing a fundraiser for my 21st birthday!

I am the creator of the non-profit My One Birthday, and every year I encourage others to spend one birthday and make it about someone else by donating gifts or raising awareness.

This year is my 21st birthday and the non-profit I am donating to is the Family Tree.

The Family Tree is a Denver based non-profit human services agency. They assist others in life changing services to help those who experience child abuse, domestic violence, and homelessness.

As i've gotten older and gone to a University, I have met a wide range of people from all over the world. So many people I have met have expressed stories of experiencing child abuse or domestic violence or homelessness. These are all factors that some of us don't experience, and take for granted. On the other hand, this is some people's everyday lives. I believe it's important to recognize this reality, and spend our energy trying to make a change.

All funds raised will be donated to the Family Tree as a monetary donation or as an item donation that would be purchased for their needs list. Your donations are greatly appreciated, and every effort given can make a difference in someone else's life.
