My phenomenal Aunt is battling lung cancer
Growing up, I have amazing memories full of nonstop laughter with my family, especially my Aunt Nancy. She was always the adventurous one, who allowed my brother, me and my cousins to be the crazy and carefree kids! As Igot older, she was always there to listen- really listen- and to support any idea or dream I approached her with. She would pull out a pad of paper and a pen, and start brainstorming ideas on how to make that dream into a reality.
As an adult, I know her three grandchildren are beyond lucky to have her as the fun and hands on Grandma that she is! Those three kidsare the loves of her life and she is still as fun and adventurous now as she was 30 years ago!
But unfortunately a few days before her 60thbirthday, we were hit with the unexpected and devastating news that she had lung cancer. Aggressive treatment of chemo, radiation and nonstop doctor appointments suddenly became her new norm. Exhausted, physically sick, hair loss, and the loss of her voice due to her vocal chord being paralyzed by the tumor had now, sadly, become my aunts reality.
I’m asking for anyone to please help, any donation is beyond appreciated. The medical bills are piling up, she has had to cut back her work hours tremendously and the stress of finances is somethingI would like to help take off her plate.
I want my little cousins to have the amazing fun moments with their grandma that I was able to enjoy. Keep fighting Aunt Nancy! Love you more!
