My Pilot Medical Certificate

When I was a freshman in college, I got dianosed with a mental illness and put on a medication which is making it nearly impossible for me to continue toward my dream of becoming a pilot. To be able to fly solo in an airplane, I need to earn my third class medical certificate.

Unfortunately, because of my medical history, the FAA is making me travel to Oakland, CA and undergo 8-10 hours of specialized clinical testing which will cost me $3,000 to prove I am mentally fit to fly an airplane. Without this, I can never become a pilot. 

For nearly a year, I've dedicated myself to learning to fly, and just recently passed the FAA written exam, putting myself one step closer to earning my private pilot certificate. I'm so close, I can taste it, but this one thing is holding me back.

Please, please help me fund my pilot certificate by donating toward my third class medical fund. I've never felt happier and healthier than I have this past year learning to fly. I don't want to give this up. I feel like I found what I was born to do and I refuse to let it slip away. 

I am going to do everything in my power to raise this money on my own, but stuff like rent and student loans unfortunately takes precedent. I'm asking for your help because I can't do this without you.
