My Prince has been called home

On Sunday January 23, 2022 I received the worst call a mother could ever receive. My son's life was tragically snuffed out by a gun shot womb to the chest by his so called "best friend. They were friends through junior and high school in addition to his short adult life. My life ENDED that very day.....Today me, my family, the Peabody community and everyone that loved him are mourning the beautiful soul that was taken from us too soon My heart and soul are broken into pieces. No Mom should have to bury their child. Prince Charles Thompson was a compassionate, loving, funny, athletic, respectful full of life young man. Prince brought joy to my life as well as countless others. The bond that my son and I had was beyond comprehension. We would always say “it’s you and me against the world”. Prince touched the hearts of so many. He was a role model, a father who has an 18 month old daughter, Zhuri. In the short 25 years of life, Prince has given us so much love and wonderful memories. He always reached for the stars while making everyone happy along the way. He had a way of putting a smile on your face. In honor of my son’s life I would like to create a memorial/mural in his name so that his legacy will carry on.
