My Puppy Chai's Broken Leg Surgery

At 6 am this morning (11.10.2023) Chai slipped and dislocated her shoulder resulting in her falling on her leg and snapping it in the process. I rushed her to the vet for them to tell me that because she wasn't done growing, she would need surgery to put metal plates into her leg.

I'm still recovering from her mother's vet bills from when her puppies were nursing. They were sapping her of nutrients she needed resulting in her having seizures and needing to be rushed to the emergency vet clinic in March of this year.

Her surgery is going to cost an upwards of $3500 and I am sadly unable to afford the bill. They explained to me the type of break it was wouldn't be able to heal on it's own without stunting her growth or causing her problems as she grows into an adult. Chai is only 7 months old and needs any help she can get so that she doesn't face any complications in the future or any more breaks on the same leg.

Her shoulder is still dislocated as she has to wait a week before they can go in and repair her entire leg; so she's on a couple of pain medications at this moment in time.
