My sister Lisa, fighting Triple Neg breast cancer

This is my sister Lisa, she has been a nurse for the last 17 years. Caring for others is her passion, even through the scary times of the pandemic. She now finds herself in need of support and care.

Lisa was diagnosed in May with Triple Negative breast cancer and has been so strong in her fight. She’s been on chemotherapy and many other drugs for the last 24 weeks. We are still praying for a positive response and things have been looking good so far, but unfortunately the bills have been piling up for her. She has given up her apartment and moved in with friends in an effort to cut costs. She’s been receiving treatment almost 3 hours from home and has been making multiple trips there each week.

I know that there are a lot of different people that you could choose to help support this time of year and that there are a lot of people in need. Lisa is the last person that would ever ask anyone for help; she is a fighter and always lends her strength to others in their time of need. But, I would ask, as you are considering the people you could maybe help, that my sister would be on that list. Thank you so much for your time and consideration of ways in which you could help.
