My sister was hit by a traveling bus

Hello, my name is Anna and I am fundraising for unexpected expenses medical and otherwise for my sister Sarah. On the night of June 10th in Chicago at Wrigley Stadium a man driving his traveling bus high on psychedelics hit several vehicles and while attempting to get away hit my sister on her pedicab.

Not only was she physically injured but her pedicab, which is her livelihood, was damaged. We are hoping to raise funds for her to pay her expenses while she recovers including any necessary medical expenses and repairs for her pedicab. She is attempting to press charges but we are unsure how long it will take and if any reparations will be paid.

Thank you to everyone who has donated. A special thanks to the folks from the Dead Lot group who have shown support and outrage for our sister. We still have a ways to go to get her justice. The news coverage and sharing her story through social media has caught the attention of the Chicago Police Dept. Sarah was able to get her name as the pedicyclist that was struck by Bryan Rollins. That's the only update so far. We are doing everything to get Chicago PD to take this seriously.

We’ve had several people let us know they couldn’t donate due to GoFundMe. After contacting GoFundMe we were given the information that some card providers don’t allow donations to GoFundMe and some browsers don’t work with GoFundMe.
