My sweet dog Lena needs CCL surgery.

We were on a hike and Lena was doing her usual breakneck speed runs back and forth across the trail. Somehow she had a misstep and tore her right rear CCL, which is basically like an ACL in humans. She’s in so much pain you guys. Her favorite thing to do is run through the woods, or down the beach. She can’t even go for a walk now. The inactivity is making her slowly go crazy. Also, before the injury she was the smiliest dog I had ever seen. Now she never smiles. She just looks so sad all the time.

I’ve contacted Puget Sound Vet Specialists in Port Orchard. We have an intake appointment on December 16th. That appointment will cost $174. This surgery will run between $6000 and $6500 for a hundred lb chocolate lab and X-rays (of which there will need to be 2 sets) are $300 a pop. I’m in no position to take care of an expense of this magnitude. Please help us if you can.
