My time in Brazil with Meninadança

hello!! This gofundme is to support me over the next 3months as I fly out, live and volunteer in Brazil!!

I’ll be going out at the end of September until December to join Meninadança in their work. The charity works with the effort and aim of helping young and vulnerable girls navigate the threats of sexual exploitation and prostitution in Brazilian neighbourhoods.

Whilst I am there I will be going to Meninadança’s Pink Houses, a ‘day centre’ to teach and equip the girls and to support them and their families. I will be helping in the art, dance and discussion classes, with an evangelistic aim also in line with the charity. As well as this, there will be trips to different pink houses and areas around where I will stay. I begin in Catuji and then will move and finish my time in Candido Sales.

Donations to this page will help fund this time supporting me during my time there for, being a volunteer I financially support myself. This includes travel, accommodation prices, as well providing the means to connect with the people through meals or activities etc.

Any financial aid I do not use, I will donate to Meninadança to help them in that way.

The financial goal is a random pick due to gofundme’s rules, this amount covers flights only so do not feel limited to the target ha!
