My Tour De 4 Fundraiser to Fight Cancer
Want to join me in supporting a good cause? Since my big brother Jonny died a few years ago from cancer, I've been thinking about how to support the services he used, who do a great job treating and caring for those suffering. Chris Hoy is now going through something that Jonny did, and has the opportunity to start his own fundraising for various cancer charities, and he's another hero of mine. I've picked Beatson, Jonny was treated there, Ayrshire Hospice wasn't an option, so please feel free to send cash their way if you can, he died in their arms and they were so compassionate and caring to his family, I'll never forget those times.
Anyway, I've picked the biggest ride in the Tour de 4 because if you want folk to donate then you should do something not just have fun, but a challenge, so I love cycling but after 40 miles my arse hurts, my knees ache and I want to stop, this is almost 60, so I might ride to the start n back home too.. if I get the morning off work
Unfortunately most of you still reading this will be affected by cancer, here's an opportunity to help the fight for cures and support.. thanks.
