My Tour De 4 Fundraiser for Cancer Research UK
Hello
As many of you know, I am a stage 4 cancer Mummy and a below-knee amputee.
I’ve signed up to the Tour de 4 charity bike ride (alongside my husband Damien) on 7th September to challenge not only any pre conceptions around what life as a stage 4 cancer patient looks like, but myself.
I’m hoping to show my girls that in spite of everything, Mummy’s still determined to make the most of the life she has left!
This will be my first ever cycling event and the first time getting back on a bike since my amputation in June 2023.
Currently, I cycle zero miles a week, so completing 56.2 miles is going to be both a physical and mental challenge! One that I am equally excited and nervous about.
If you would like to follow my training (and everything else cancer and prosthetic related) please do so on instagram:
I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK to support life saving research. I’ve set an ambitious target to raise £4,444 all the 4s for stage 4!!
Any donation no matter the size will make a significant impact. Thank you in advance for your support and encouragement it means so much to me.
