My Unexpected Medical Situation

Hello everyone, my name is Mr. Dennis Persaud, born in Mahaica Guyana in 1946 and live in Georgetown Guyana. I worked as a mechanic and taxi driver for my entire career and as a general laborer while I lived in Ontario Canada as a Permanent Resident from 1986 to 1998. I re-emigrated to Georgetown Guyana in 1998 and retired in 2012. In May 2019 I travelled to Canada to explore the many beauties of the land as my very last vacation that would entail an airplane, I spent 2 weeks in Edmonton Alberta visiting my son and his family from 05 to 19 May and then travelled to Toronto on the 19 May with my schedule return flight on 26 May to Guyana. Unfortunately, within the third week of my vacation on 23 May I became seriously ill and was immediately admitted to the Humber River Hospital in Toronto. I suffered a heart attack and was diagnosed with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), which I was never aware of or had previous concerns about! I needed a triple bypass surgery that was performed on 07 June 2019 at the Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto. My hospital stay at Humber River Hospital and the procedure at Sunnybrook was very expensive with the total costs exceeding C$112,000!

Fortunately, I purchased the available travel insurance of C$50,000, this was paid in full to the two hospitals plus funds from my own resources, now there is an outstanding balance of C$49,800. that I am seeking your kind assistance and generosity to raise funds to pay these exceptional facilities that gave me a renewed lease on life! They treated me with dignity and respect and provided a world class level of care and expertise you would expect from a Canadian Health facility!I most certainly would not have been here had it not been for the expert treatment by the doctors and their teams that took exceptional care of me. I am compelled and committed to fulfilling my financial obligations and would like to make payments to these facilities on Friday 06 September, 2019. I am very thankful to all my family and friends who support me and encouraged me to set up this campaign. I am on the long road to recovery and am really looking forward to a peaceful and simple life with my family and friends.
