Help My wife battle Stage 3 Breast Cancer

Hello, my name is Miguel and I’m asking the community to help us with my wife Rebecca’s battle with stage 3 breast cancer.

In October of 2023 my wife discovered a lump on her right breast and went in to have it examined. After the tests where run it shows that it was cancerous and had spread to her lymph nodes.

in December she started her battle and had a mastectomy to remove the affected breast. Along with it they removed 22 lymph nodes and 21 returned positive with cancer.

After her recovery from her surgery she began her chemotherapy.

With her battle beginning she was placed on disability from her job and since we have been using to pay our bills but it isn’t enough to cover all of our expenses and need a little more assistance in being able to pay our way through this tough time.

We applied for Disability and the outcome was that they granted $11,000 with a weekly support payment of $333 until it runs out. Though because this only covered her time out for her surgery the doctors have not given an updated stay from work order and we will need to reapply once the doctor handling her chemotherapy can do it and be able to re-apply.

We are a dual income and the disability covers our usual bills. We have Kaiser and we applied for financial assistance. We are still awaiting their reply if we qualify for it.
