My Wife Needs A New Power Wheelchair

As you may already know, my wife has a hereditary neuromuscular disease. It's known as HSAN Type 1 (Hereditary Sensory Neuropathy Type 1).

As a result of the effects of this disease, she has relied upon using a wheelchair, for the past 16 years.

8 plus years ago, she was able to purchase a power chair that definitely increased her mobility & also her abilitiy to do some things around the house.

Over these past 8 years, much has happened, including the need to replace that chairs electrical computerized controls on 2 occasions, as well as replacing other electronic switches.

The actual life expectancy of a power wheelchair is 5 years & we've been fortunate to extend that life to 8 years.

But, now it's time to purchase a new chair.

She's been through the medical processes & has finally received the approval from her insurance company.

Now, here's where this Go Fund Me page comes in.

The insurance company will not pay the entire amount to purchase a new chair.

We are still in need of $3124.

In order to expedite the ordering process, we've placed that amount on a credit card, so her new chair has already been ordered & we expect that it will be delivered in about 2 weeks.
