Mya’s fund

Hello my name is James O’Neill and I want to thank you sincerely for taking a moment to read Mya’s story. On the morning of 12/01/2023 I was leaving a house on Radix Road in Williamstown when I noticed a woman pulled over on the side of the road. I pulled over myself and ran across the street to find this beautiful little puppy rapped in a bloody blanket. I rushed her to the closest animal urgent care which was Thrive in Turnersville. She was left extremely emaciated with a severe rectal prolapse. I called my mom and told her the situation, and we both agreed to do whatever we could to save her life. We had the procedure to fix the prolapse done on care credit and it went very well. The prolapse briefly recurred when I was watching her at an airbnb in Philly, which is when I took her to VEG on Walnut Street. We are hoping to raise the cost of her procedure, and anything beyond that amount will be donated towards Riley’s Rescue Group who has stepped in and sponsored her adoption.
