Mya's Harvard Fund

In the past nine months, I have had the wonderful opportunity to attend Harvard Graduate School of Education where I received my Master’s degree in Human Development and Education. This year has taught me more about where my passions and purposes lie in the world. I have honed my voice of advocating for the rights and protection of children while aiding in their growth to become their most authentic selves. The classes I took provided me the skills for research, questioning, and imagining a more liberated future for generations to come. I had the honor of establishing strong, life-long connections with professors and peers. Overall, without this program, I can confidently say I would not be the person I am today and would not posses the skills to change the world and systems we currently live in. 

As a recent graduate of Harvard Graduate School of Education, I am faced with $20,000 student loan debt. This loan was required for me to take out in order to attend the university and receive full aid. I am asking for your help with paying back student loans as this is the one thing holding me back from living debt-free. With your help, I will be able to live joyously debt and stress free while I focus on my commitment to my work. 

This fund will also go towards my moving expenses as I transition out of Boston and into the next chapter of my life.
