Mya's Neuroblastoma fight
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mya I am 9 months old at 7 months old my parents noticed some lumps on my head which began to grow rapidly.
My mother took me to the Emergency at the Royal Hobart Hospital where they ran some tests and had me immediately flown to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne where some more scans and tests was run and I was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 Neuroblastoma Cancer.
I have completed 3 cycles of Chemo and about to undertake the 4th round. This is emotionally and financially taken a toll on our family, as I come from a young family who are on Government benefits. My big sister Ayla who is 5 years old is currently travelling back and forths from Melbourne to Hobart staying with family due to her schooling being in Hobart and to take the burden off her family, this also has taken a toll on her emotionally.
We come from a tight nit family that doesn't ask people for help generally but in this case we have had a few family members run a small fund-raiser which raised some money towards financial relief.
We are currently hoping to raise $5000 towards our finacial needs to further support our family . I thank all those that take the time to read this and if anyone is willing to donate big or small It would be kindly appreciated.
