Hello everyone my name is Melanie and I am starting this gofundme on behalf of my son Nick Sims to help cover medical expenses. He was in a motorcycle accident on December 9,2022 at no fault of his own where he was hit head on and flipped over the vehicle. He sustained severe injuries that will impact the rest of his life and he is only 25 yrs old. He has already had 2 surgeries and will need 2 more that we know of and possibly more in the future. Insurance is paying for some but most definitely not all and the bills are adding up. He is out of work until further notice. He will need intense physical therapy after his next surgery so hopefully he will eventually be able to walk without assistance. The intense pain and suffering I have seen him endure these last few months has been extremely hard to witness. If any of you are lucky enough to know Nick, you know that he would do anything to help you out no questions asked, and expect nothing in return. He's truly a hard working, loving, caring, genuine human being. I also know that he does not like to ask for help and wanted nothing to do with this. But we ALL need help sometimes and he has a very long road to recovery. We are all so very thankful that we still have Nick with us. Awareness is key everyone!
