Support Michael's Battle Against Lung Cancer

My Husband, my Rock, Michael was diagnosed on August 6, 2024 with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Carcinoma (a very rare, aggressive lung cancer). The cancer has metastasized to his liver. He previously had yearly CT and MRI scans which showed only benign lesions in the lung and continued to be monitored. Michael started experiencing a heavy cough and chronic back pain between his shoulders in the last few months, which led us to believe that this was not something that we could ignore. Michael started his first round of Chemo Treatment on August 28, 2024 and has a long road ahead. He will receive three more cycles of Chemo Treatment which are scheduled every three weeks, along with continuous scans to monitor progress and possibly additional treatment to fight this battle.

We have the most incredible community of support - if you're reading this, chances are you're a BIG part of it! Our family asks you to include Michael in your prayers, but many have asked how to contribute. Funds raised will go towards medical costs, chemotherapy treatments, medical supplies and general support for Michael as he fights against Small Cell Lung Carcinoma. We understand that these are trying times and are grateful for all your thoughts and prayers as Michael powers through this journey. This news has been overwhelming for our family and friends.
