Myke Strum's Medical and Life Expenses

Hi, my name is Jen, and I am a friend of Mykes. We have joked that maybe he shouldn't go to Florida anymore because he always ends up sick, at Urgent Care or in the ER. It is hard because Florida is one of his favorite places, and he can't stay away. So the trip this spring was no different - Myke went to FL and ended up in the ER, but this time was no joke. He had a severe Acute Pancreatic attack made worse by sudden and extremely high cholesterol/triglycerides. The first few days were really bad and thankfully the hospital helped Myke pull through and saved his life.   Myke spent a total of 16 days in the hospital; they needed the swelling of his pancreas to go down and start functioning properly again .   During his stay he became anemic, needed a blood transfusion, and the Drs found a large sack of fluid in his abdomen.

 

He will be on a long road to recovery with more doctor appointments and possibly even surgery.

 

We are asking for financial assistance for unknown hospital bills, everyday life bills due to his inability to work and any other unforeseen expenses related to his recovery.
