Myoelectric hand for Colton

Hi, my name is Colton and I was born without my left arm below the elbow. I am raising funds for a myoelectric hand. Unfortunately, medical insurance has denied my claim as they feel it is not needed. This type of prosthetic will me give abilities similar to other kids my age. The myoelectric hand will open a world of possibilities that I have not even thought of yet. For example, I will be able to use a knife with a fork, help with school projects and finally ride my bike without sitting sideways.

My dad and I went to Denver for testing and get fitted for a myoelectic hand in December. I love it and I’m so excited to get mine. Every little bit will help and I’d really appreciate it. All the funds raised will go to the purchase of the myoelectric hand.
