Myrna and Micha's Postpartum and Bereavement Care

Dear Community,

My name is Angie Richardson and I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Myrna Morales, Micha Kurz Ben David, and their sweet baby girl, Lolita Elsa Morales Kurz. I share this as there is a genuine need to fiscally support this family during their postpartum and mourning. Lolita was born as a full-term stillbirth baby, on the cusp of a New Moon, Wednesday, May 17th, surrounded by love, at Boulder Community Health Foothills Hospital.

Their time in the hospital was unexpected as is the shock and loss of their daughter. Now, as community, we have the honor to set a container for Myrna and Micha to soften into, grieve, and heal, which is of vital importance. Your donation will go directly toward the family and their hospital bills, to meet their basic needs for the next 40 days, and offer ongoing support for postpartum healing + grief work. Our goal is to provide the family with enough fiscal aid so they may slowly and with time begin to integrate the impact of this initiation into parenthood through berevement.

Together, may we elevate the sanctity of birth and death so Lolita's spirit may soar and be enveloped by the tears and love of her parents without the weight of the financial burden.

In addition, Myrna and Micha want Lolita to have a positive impact on the world. Any extra funds would be seed funding for a social justice project in Lolita's honor.
